Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and plugins. You should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, frontend and backend development, and a passion for clean, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and responsive design.
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers.
• Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress theme development, child themes, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Understanding of WordPress core, database structure, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.
• Ability to create custom plugins or extend existing ones.
• Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, and domain management.
• Experience with security, backups, and website migration.
• Portfolio of WordPress websites or GitHub profile is a plus.
